  Abstract:   Since the beginning of this century we have been able to witness society undergoing radical changes. The relationship between an ever more secular Europe and Western Christianity has become an inherent law for the historical evolution of mankind. Viewpoints have shifted which means in consequence that Christian identity faces new conditions. The article deals with this central issue of Christian identity.
