  Abstract:  Scurt istoric al Facultăţii de Teologie Greco-Catolică a Universităţii „Babeş-Bolyai” (Cluj). Facultatea de Teologie Greco-Catolică are o istorie relativ scurtă, fiind fondată în 1991. În prezent, funcţionează trei departamente (Cluj, Blaj, Oradea) cu diverse specializări (teologie pastorală, teologie didactică, teologie socială, teologie-filosofie, teologie-istorie, teologielitere), iar numarul studenţilor în ultimii ani variază în jurul cifrei de 500. Facultatea se înscrie în coordonatele învaţământului teologic catolic contemporan şi propune o formare plurală, care cuprinde atât cunoaşterea tradiţiei creştine bizantine cât şi a celei latine, precum şi dialogul cu filozofia şi cu ştiinţele socio-umane.
