  Abstract:  This study analyses some definitions of lerning disabilities, the theoretical and methodological approaches to the types of learning disabilities: a) developmental learning disabilities; b) academic learning disabilities.The study aims at presenting the Cognitive Constructivist theory, Informal and Post-Modern theories of learning and approaches of learning competencies: mediation psychology, cognitive learning strategies, collaborative learning, metacognitive processes.
