Abstract: Actors in the Theater of Terror – Terrorists and victims, government and mass media. From the beginning of the ‘90s, a new kind of terrorism raised. It showed us that there is no “safe place" in the world. Businessmen or tourists, federal agents or ordinary travelers were victims of attacks. Terrorists proved to be fanatics, no matter what their religion was Muslim, Christian of Buddhist. Governments set interdictions or cast out of the law the responsible movements or even started wars. But the public would have never known about all these if the media had not report on the terrible events, offering information and equally building meanings. | |||||||
