  Abstract:  Specific Issues of National Minorities Representation in Romanian Parliament. According with the Romanian Constitution, the national minorities which do not obtain a parliamentary mandate in the elections, they may get one if they obtain at least 5 % out of the medium number of votes necessary for the elections a deputy. The article is concerned with legal procedure of the elections and with practical examples from the 1996 and 2000 elections. In the end we summit some proposals of “lege ferenda” in order to improve the elections law.
