  Article:   CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ULTRASONIC STUDY OF INTERNAL PRESSURE IN ALCOHOL - CARBON TERTRACHLORIDE MIXTURES.

  Abstract:  The correlation of the different internal pressure formulas by means of the ultrasonic propagation velocity as a common parameter allowed us to establish the correction factors with respect to the rigorous expression of the internal pressure in liquids. The presented relations were verified in the case of the liquid binary systems: carbon tetrachloride - propilic alcohol, carbon tetrachloride - butylic alcohol and carbon tetrachloride - amilic alcohol in the temperature range 10  400 C. For this purpose it were used the measured values of the ultrasonic propagation velocity, density and molar heat.
