  Article:   SIMPLE IONIZATION OF MOLECULAR HYDROGEN BY POSITRON AND ELECTRON IMPACT.

  Abstract:  In this paper we have applied a formulation for calculating the cross sections within the distorted wave Born approximations for molecular H2 ionization using the partial-wave expansion method. In addition, Heitler-London-type molecular wavefunctions are used for the description of the initial state. In the case of the e- projectile, the electron exchange in the transition matrix element has been neglected. The results are compared to the experimental data of Fromme et al [1] and Moxom et al [2] and to other theoretical predictions.
