Abstract:  The paper presents the general synthesis procedure and mass spectral analysis of some oxyminic esters of the cyclohexyl- and phenyl- thiophosphonic acids, respectively. The compounds are expected to have biologic potential owing to their elemental composition and chemical structure, confirmed via IR, 1H-NMR and mass spectrometry analyses. EI mass spectra at 70 eV, high resolution mass measurements and metastable ions cleavage were used to elucidate the possible fragmentation processes.

Keywords: oxyminic amidothiophosphonic esters, electron impact ionization, mass spectrometry, molecular cleavage pathways
