Abstract:  In a morally corrupt world, education remains the sole rescue anchor to guide the new generation towards a rehabilitation of moral values. The educators’ duty is to take into account the psychological factors, to facilitate the social side of the process and to build educational policies meant to re-establish the rightful value hierarchy. Parental as well as school education are determining factors in the development of ethical behaviour. Both psychology and pedagogy offer valuable data for applying efficient educational policies. The educator (be it the parent or the teacher) remains one of the most important decision-makers and, therefore, he is responsible for the moral development of the new generation.
