Abstract:  This article aims to offer a systematized reading of the numerous detailed analyses and examples in Being and Time by way of focusing the interpretation on the main ideas in this book. The thread running through the entire analysis consists of the deficient Modes. In my opinion these Modes open the way to a new manner of reading and comprehending Heidegger’s plan and suggestions in Being and Time. In this article I will attempt to prove that Heidegger’s well-known ontological difference, which points to the difference between Being and Beingness, can actually be understood on three different levels, according to the threefold nature of reality: firstly – the Being, secondly- the Existentials and thirdly- the existenziell Modes. The core of this article focuses on the three Schemata which correspond to Heidegger’s three main ideas in Being and Time: the fundamental Ontology (and the existenzial Analytik), the phenomenological Description and the Destruction (Destruktion), which stands for Heidegger’s critical attitude to the traditional Ontology. The first two Schemata are the embodiment of the relationships holding between the three layers of reality. Thus we can see on the one hand, the relationship between Being and the Existentials, as possible ways of revealing the Being, and on the other hand the relationship between the Existentials and their concrete ways of manifesting themselves or existenziell Modes. The third Schema stands for the methodological completion of the first two. The three Schemes are the undetailed theoretical Explanation of Heidegger’s main ideas in Being and Time and they will be completed on another occasion through an applied analysis of the most important arguments and paragraphs in Being and Time.
