Abstract:   My paper focuses on the concept of political representation in Th. Hobbes’ Leviathan. It tackles the question of a supposed link between the philosophy of nature and the political philosophy made through the various epistemological meanings of representation. The final thesis advances that the theoretical structure of Leviathan was conceived as based on the political representation with a meaning that can be traced back to that of mental representation.
