  Abstract:  Lorenzino/Lorenzaccio, un homme au service de la Cité? Lorenzino de Médicis (Florence 1514-Venise 1548), Apologia (1539?). Sur le modèle de l’Apologie de Socrate, où Platon met en scène le célèbre philosophe se défendant lui-même lors du procès qui déboucha sur sa condamnation à boire la ciguë, celle de Lorenzino de Médicis (1539 ?) active son auto-défense. Il réfute l’accusation d’avoir assassiné un parent et démontre qu’il a agi contre la tyrannie d’Alexandre et, nouveau Brutus, pour la liberté de sa Cité.
