  Abstract:  On the Names of Colours in Romanian Cookbooks. The paper deals with a series of colour names identified in Romanian cookbooks throughout over one and a half century, while focusing on various equivalence relationships between these lexemes; such relationships are deemed typical of the gastronomic subcode.
