  Abstract:  The study of some French and Italian prepositions enables us to handle the translation problems that the French and Italian speakers meet with: the correct distribution of the prepositions, the change of their functions, their different distributions depending on their meanings. We have used the psycho-systematic theory of French and Italian languages in order to describe and explain these changes in usage.
