  Abstract:  The Father, as Character of his Son in Three Autofictions of the 20th Century’s Second Half (Albert Camus, Paul Auster, Christoph Meckel). This study focuses on the way how the narrators search for their missing fathers. Victims of the History, those fathers have failed. Using myths and fictions, their sons try to give a sense to their destiny.
