  Abstract:   Notes on Language Television. It is useful and necessary that students, especially outside of Germany, who want to train listening comprehension listen to film examples. However, film language follows entirely different rules than those of the German language classroom. Thus, it is essential that they beforehand learn about the rules of the medium and the resulting constraints of this specific language, in order to correctly deal with the forms found there.
