  Article:   FUSION OF ART AND REAL WORLD IN CORTÁZAR’S FICTION / LA FUSIÓN DEL MUNDO DEL ARTE Y EL MUNDO REAL A CORTÁZAR.

  Abstract:  Julio Cortázar, autor no conformista y gran admirador de las teorías paradójicas, supo aprovecharse de la idea posmodernista concerniente a la fusión entre el mundo real, objetivo y el mundo ficcional, del arte. Por lo menos tres de los cuentos cortazarianos tienen como tema central la fantástica fusión entre los dos mundos considerados tradicionalmente incompatibles. Estos cuentos son: Fin de etapa, Instrucciones para John Howell y Las babas del diablo. El escritor argentino va más lejos por la vía abierta por los modernistas: en sus cuentos el arte copia a la realidad que, a su vez, imita el arte, en un infinito, elucubrante y laberíntico juego de espejos.
