Abstract:  Pleasure and Lust; Power and Knowledge; Gender Difference in Karin Moe''s Blove books. Blove first book and Blove second book are two “seductive” novels. The readers are exposed to an agressive rhetoric, even from the beginning of Blove first book, which establishes a contrast between the author and the reader. The text shows its confidence in the reader’s ability to create a gender identity. Gender is related to the story and the fiction, shows the text. The story does not give the reader an accomplished gender identity but the possibility to create one’s own. This project of gender identity, present in the text, implies a carnival mixture between body and thought, sender and receiver, and involves a series of ruptures with the traditional representations about gender identity.
