Abstract:  A Comparative Approach to the Concepts of Person and Space in Latin, Italian and French. The comparison of three situations in Latin, Italian and French highlights a common operational process. I distribute the concepts of space, person, gender, number and inter-subjectivity on the operative time of a radical space tensor which is divided into two successive stages of interiority and exteriority. Thus each first step in the process is a design that fuses interiority, feminine, internal plural, and symbiosis. The space location connected with the dialogical process, involving a symbiotic relationship between the speaker and the listener, corresponds from a historic point of view, when undergoing transitions from Latin to Italian, to a marker used during the first step. When no marker is used during the first stage, the process continues with a conception of the external space as in French. The implicit possession is representative of a system where the person has an extended personal sphere, typical of a symbiotic relationship to the environment and representative of language systems where the first step is existent. Thus, the purpose of the article is to demonstrate that a conception based on interiority has affinities with inflexion, whereas the one based on exteriority is similar to the deflection. Therefore, the space criterion is a founder of the psychological and linguistic structures.
