  Abstract:  Le premier numéro de la revue Translationes, paru en 2010, contient dix-huit articles et constitue le prolongement d’un colloque qui s’est tenu les 26 et 27 mars 2010, à l’Université de l’Ouest de Timişoara en Roumanie, à l’initiative du groupe de recherche ISTTRAROM-Translationes. Les contributions au présent ouvrage « portent des regards croisés sur la traduction », pour reprendre l’expression de Georgiana Lungu-Badea qui en signe la présentation, et envisagent les thèmes faisant l’objet du titre du recueil selon de nombreuses approches. Dans un article intitulé Esthétiques de la traduction, Jean-René Ladmiral évoque la primauté qu’il accorde, dans son esthétique de la traduction, au ressenti langagier du texte, et que celle-ci se tient au plus près du vécu du traducteur. Il opère une distinction entre esthétique littéraire de la traduction et esthétique de la traduction littéraire, tout en soulignant que l’esthétique de la traduction littéraire mériterait d’être étendue aux dimensions d’une Esthétique générale de la traduction tout court.
