  Article:   EUROPEAN LANGUAGES PORTFOLIO.

Authors:  T. POPESCU, M. TOMA.

Abstract:  European Languages Portfolio. The idea of a European Languages Portfolio came up out of the need for an instrument to record and give value to lifelong language learning. A Portfolio is a document, or a collection of documents consisting of three parts – an overview of the learners’ formal qualifications in an internationally transparent manner, a language biography describing language knowledge and learning experiences, and a dossier in which the learners’ own work can be included. This portfolio will be updated as the owner’s language learning progresses and develops.
