  Abstract:  Banking risks, being a source of unexpected expenses, are a very important factor that affects a bank�s activity. A bank is exposed to a variety of risks coming from within the institution itself or from the economic, political and social environement, on a national or international level. Therefor, in order to obtain the best performance, a bank has to be concerned about reducing its exposure to risks, about taking the best managerial decisions that can improve its financial results.
