	Abstract: It is well known, in literature the estimators of the index of total variation of an average for a variable and for the Laspeyres factorial index. In this paper we propose an estimator for the factorial index obtained by factorial path method on the linear path, in particular case. Also, we study the property of the asimptotical unbias for the estimator.
