Abstract:  Largely based on the results obtained by the author, alone or in cooperation with other mathematicians, this book, together with the 1999 volume, cover a broad spectrum of applications of critical point method in solving various nonlinear differential and partial differential equations. The author proposes some very general and unitary approaches to find critical points and exposes them in a clear and sequential way. The book can be recommended for researchers in applied functional analysis, partial differential equations and their applications.
