Abstract:  The implicit function theorem is in the gallery of basic theorems in analysis and its many variants are basic tools in various parts of mathematics, including partial differential equations, nonsmooth analysis, and numerical analysis. The book starts with the classical framework of implicit function theorem and then is largely focusing on properties of solution mapping of variational problems. The goal of the authors was to provide a reference on the topic and to present a unified collection of results scattered throughout the literature. The authors fully realized their goal.
