	Abstract: The convergence rates of Picard, Mann and Ishikawa iterations have been compared by several authors for a class of quasi-contractive maps defined on an arbitrary closed convex subset of a Banach space (e.g. [1], [3] and [10]). In this paper, a comparison of the convergence rates of those iterations are studied for a more general class of operators called the generalized contractive operators. Key words and phrases.
