Article:   BLENDING SURFACES ON ELLIPSE GENERATED USING THE BERNSTEIN OPERATORS.

Authors:  .

  Abstract:

In this paper we present some blending surfaces using uni-variate Bernstein operators. The surfaces stay on a ellipse which is the border of the domain and they have a fixed height in the point (0, 0). Some results about monotonicity, concavity and type of surfaces are given.

Mathematics Subject Classification (2010): 65D17, 41A36, 41A63.

Keywords: Bernstein polynomial, surfaces, monotonicity, concavity.
