PROJECTORS IN FINITE π-SOLVABLE GROUPS. Authors: RODICA COVACI. |

Abstract: In [7], W. Gaschutz introduced the notion of primitive class and studied its connection with projectors in finite solvable groups. Let π be a set of primes. Introduced by S.A. Cunihin in [6], the π -solvable groups are more general than the soluble groups. It is the aim of this paper to give conditions under which we can establish a connection between projectors in finite π -solvable groups and their associated primitive classes. The main results establishing this connection are based on some new properties of projectors in finite π -solvable groups which are also proved in this paper. | |||||||
