In this article we present an experimental evaluation of our proposed methodology for object-oriented design (OOD) assessment introduced in previous work. A comparison with a related approach based on detection strategies is comprised in the proposed case study. It also discusses the limitations of existing approaches found in literature in the context of OOD assessment.
