  Abstract:

We propose in this paper a design for a framework dedicated to collections data structures, based on which we are able very easily to use, to adapt, to transform, and to extend the collections. A certain collection type is seen as a set of features which are added to a storage support. The design is based on Decorator together with Proxy and Template Method design patterns. This design choice allows features to be dynamically added or removed and from this, a high degree of exibility in creating and managing the collections is achieved. The framework could be easily extended, but in an organized and reliable manner.
