  Abstract:  A new Hybodus site from Romania is located at Anina, in the Pliensbachian – Middle Toarcian succession from Ponor quarry (Caraş-Severin district). The paper refers to a short description of the Hybodus teeth recently collected, followed by some considerations on hybodonts phylogeny and palaeoecology.
