Abstract:  Aspects Regarding the Movement of the Population in the Braşov Depression, After 1990. During this period, in the Braşov Depression, the population registered a -0.9 ‰ negative movement, differently for the rural and the urban medium. In the villages the population increased because of the high immigration, although the natural movement was negative, on the background of the high mortality among an aged population. In the towns instead, it was registered a natural increasing, not because of the high weight of the new born, actually lower than the one in the rural medium, but of the low weight of the deceased among a younger population. Still, in the urban medium was registered a decrease of population because of the negative value of the mechanical movement, caused by the changes in the secondary economical sector, and especially because of the high emigration in 1990. The positive value of the natural movement in the depression might mean that, all this years, it has been produced a changing in the active population, without significantly increasing the weight of the aged, a changing between the population working in industry and the one working in the services area.
