Abstract:  Geographical Study on the Main Railway 4, Braşov-Deda Sector. Symbol of the technological progress or of the infinite greed of humanity against nature, the railway has been for more than one century the Waggoner of the Industry. But once the road transport modernized more and more merchandises and people took their place on the highways, especially when it was about quickness. Still, a few goods stood traditionally on the rail, precisely great volume and weight goods. The mountain line we are talking about has always been used more as a track mended to exploit the natural goods in the mountains than to supply the localities along it, so the economical recession of some branches of the industry in the past years did not affect it too much. The main goods transported out of the mountains are the volcanic construction rocks, the wood, and the mineral water and a few non natural goods as the cardboard packing, casks and barrels, furniture, machine-tools and construction prefabs. Instead in the area are being brought cereals and oil products.
