Abstract:  Touristic-Geographical Traits of the Inferior Basin of Arieş. This paper makes a thoroughly analysis of the main factors which stimulate and define the tourism from the inferior basin of Arieş. The morphological landscape’s components specific for the Muntele Mare Mountain, Trascău Mountain and Feleac Hills are spotlighted, together with the climatic and bioclimatic implication with mountainous and submontainous character. At these components, the salt works microclimate could be added, as a specific trait, the sources of water, among which the salt mineral waters are also highlighted, together with the biotic layer, in whose frame the most important one is the wood. As concerns the touristic anthropic potential, this area, through its vestiges, faithfully reflects the intense Roman colonization and the great number of objectives from the Middle Age. The touristic arrangement, though complex, is less dimensioned, but it will be stimulated by an increasing touristic request, both from Romania as from the outside, in accordance with the modenization tendencies – of the general and touristic infrastructure.
