  Abstract:  The Sustainable Development in Geographic Dimension. Theoretical Aspects. The past and the future in geography, but especially the future depends in a high degree on the arisen opportunities, and one of these is the lever of the durable development. The trajectories which can be depicted by the durable development depend also on the theoretical content and on the alternatives which will define a trajectory or another, being first of all the basis of the theoretical aspect. The word "durable" as an adjective with everything that signifies and implies, generates a new way of thinking, a new strategy, paradigms which inspires a pragmatic dimension through their theoretical content.
