  Abstract:   This article deals with the representation of the Romani people in three French newspapers online : Le Figaro, Le Monde and Libération. Since 2010, the Romani are hypervisible in the French media. However, only a small portion of them are represented, that is to say the ones that live in very precarious conditions and come from Romania and Bulgaria. The aim of this paper is to determine if the concepts of victimization and accusation – two ways of stigmatizing the Romani – can be found in the articles analyzed from January to May 2014.
