  Abstract:  Beginning with an overview of the concept of multiculturalism, the article investigates further in details the ways in which some European universities involve this concept in their organizational structure. The aim of the article is to unravel the common patterns of this sort of organization for different universities, as well as the disparities, and to clarify to what kind of challenges these universities are trying to respond to by their multicultural organization.
