  Abstract:  The Judicial action of the Consummers Associations for the collective interest of consumers: a French‐Romania Comparison. This study aims at describing the four types of judicial actions exercisable by a consumer association – actions in promoting a collective interest of consumers; actions in the cessation of an abusive clause use; actions in the cessation of a illegal commercial practice; voluntary intervention in a civil trial, having an individual complaint of a consumer as an object – in presenting the main discrepancies between Romanian and French Consumer Law in the field of consumer organizations’ functioning.
