Abstract: Some Argumentative Strategies in Advertising Discourse. Either we like it or not, the publicity is invading our lives. The aim of this article is to reveal the different types of discourse according to various criteria. We will also try to establish the difference between discourse type and discours genre. Finally, we will prove that the advertising discourse is an argumentative discourse and we will analyze some ressources that publicity uses in order to determine the public to buy a product or a service.
