Abstract:  A Prominent Personality of European Ethical Thought - Adela Cortina. The ethical conception proposed by Adela Cortina represents a referential moment in the European thinking at the end of the century and the beginning of the new millennium. The Spanish ethician differentiates three distinct levels of the moral world: morality, moral and ethics. She studies the methods that are used in moral phenomenon exploration, choosing mostly the transcendental and systematic methods. Also she analyses with judgement the actual ethical pluralism, underlining the virtues that the communicative ethics and civic moral have. She is concerned of the particularities of moral judgement and the possibilities to build a better world. We think that there are enough reasons to reveal from inside how are structured the essential joints of her own ethic conceptions.
