  Abstract:  Resursele umane în organizaţiile sportive. Criticile la adresa primelor cercetări din domeniul managementului sportiv evidenţiau orientarea lor spre latura pur descriptivă şi lipsa fundamentării teoretice şi ştiinţifice. Managementul în sport se limita la domeniul educaţiei fizice şi la „administrarea” sportivilor. Este notabilă creşterea în ceea ce priveşte gradul şi modul de folosire, în managementul sportiv actual, a teoriilor, metodelor şi mijloacelor împrumutate din ştiinţele socio-umane şi economice. Noua filosofie a organizaţiilor evidenţiază rolul primordial al subsistemului resurselor umane (parte componentă a sistemului de management sportiv): „oamenii reprezintă organizaţia” (Manolescu, 2001).
