Throughout a sports effort, the sportspeople’s bodies are subject to many factors, either good or bad, which lead in many structural and functional changes in the organs and their functionality. Thus, one can meet a number of metabolic and enzymatic changes in the musculoskeletal, circulatory and respiratory systems. This paper presents some elements of physical preparation that are specific to the basketball game and the way they influence muscle tissue.
