  Article:   THE PSYCHO-BEHAVIORAL INDICES OF THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS.

  Abstract:  The Psycho-Behavioral Indices of The Football Players. The best players are characterized by the desire of competition and victory, the capacity of controlling the emotions, self-confidence, all these being doubled by football’s specific skills. Most of the studies axiomatically start from a model of player, which indicate his qualities (the entire profile) and thus recommending a selection adjusted to this profile. For a better understanding in time of the football player’s training, from about 8-10 years old to 30-35 years old, in his all football activity, I will present the main stages of his development. The athletic performances that these players will have or have not obtain, are also conditioned by going through the necessary stages in their sport’s development. Fist of all, the game of football is no longer just an activity without social and sport responsibility, is no longer just a leisure activity, and second of all the reconsideration of the game and practice conceptions impose the elaboration of a new sports strategy without which the greater performance is not possible in our modern time.
