  Article:   THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE „LIBERO” PLAYER TO THE ECONOMY OF THE VOLLEYBALL GAME.

  Abstract:  The Contribution of the „libero” Player to the Economy of the Volleyball Game. On the occasion of the 28th meeting, 1998 at Tokyo, the Congress of the International Volleyball Federation aprooved of more modifications to the regulation of volleyball.Through the modification made on this occasion an important place is represented by the right of the team to use in its composition the libero player. The libero player was ment to come in the help of the defendence compartments to balance them in the fight with the offensive compartment.The libero player being exclusively a player for the second line, and his introduction in the game has as effect the improvement of the defensive system, the individual actions of play are resumed to the receive of the service, to the recuperate of the attack of the opponent and isolated the raise for the attack.
