  Abstract:  Particularităţi psihologice necesare şi unele limite psihopatologice contraindicate în activitatea managerului sportiv. Prin prezenta comunicare sunt evaluaţi principalii parametrii psihologici necesari funcţionalităţii optime activităţii managerului sportiv, precum şi a disfuncţiilor rol-statusului acestuia, cauzate de unele simptomatologii psihopatologice posibile şi/sau cu tendinţe de manifestare. În acest sens am recurs la o investigaţie psihologică în rândul unei categorii de studenţi ai Facultăţii de Educaţie Fizică şi Sport din cadrul Universităţii "George Bariţiu" din Braşov, investigaţie desfăşurată în cursul anului şcolar 1998-1999 pe un eşantion reprezentativ de studenţi de 30%, utilizând ca instrumente de cercetare testul de personalitate L3-91-3A, test adaptat după testul american Minesota.
