The Balaban index J is one of the oldest topological indices introduced by the Romanian chemist, A. T. Balaban. The chemical meaning of this topological index was investigated in several research papers. The aim of this paper is to introduce a new algebraic method for computing Wiener and Balaban indices of dendrimers.
