Abstract: Starting from 4-piperidone monohydrate hydrochloride or the hydrochloride of its ethylene ketal, the synthesis of new (4-oxopiperidin-1-yl)-s-triazine derivatives (potential C2, C3 symmetric dendritic cores) based on amination of cyanuric chloride is for the first time reported.
