Abstract: Powders of mesoporous tungsten trioxide (WO3) have been synthesized by an inorganic sol-gel route, in presence of polyethylene glycol PEG as porosity regulating agent. The influences of PEG addition and calcination regime on powder properties were investigated. Samples characterization was performed by thermal analysis, UV-Vis spectroscopy, as well as by surface area and porosity measurements.
