  Abstract:   Arum alpinum is a rare mountain plant species and represents the European-temperate sub-element. The aforementioned taxon is distibuted in the central and southern Europe, Asia Minor, as well as the Caucasus and it reaches the northern limit of its range in Poland (Zając and Zając, 2009).
