  Abstract:  The glucocorticoids (GC) are among the most widely prescribed anti-inflammatory and immunosupressive drugs. In addition to these well-known effects, GC exert regulatory actions on tumor angiogenesis at both genomic and non-genomic level. Consequently, GC can be exploited as anti-angiogenic agents in cancer therapy.
